Running the free version of AVG 2012 with email scanner and identity protection.
1. I have noticed that on several occasions AVG Identity Protection becomes corrupted and produced the little orange arrow in the icon in the sys tray.
I find I have to open it and re-check one of the options to get rid of this icon .
2. Over the past three days I have had a huge problem sending email via my default email client Outloook Express 6.0.
This has been my email client ever since it came out and I am an AVG user since 1999, so both products are known to me.
On calling my ISP TELUS tech support he advised that it was AVG that was blocking outgoing mail for some reason and asked me to uncheck the 'scan incoming mail and scan outgoing mail' functions.
My email was OK after that.
My question is how do I fix these problems? Should I uninstall and install a fresh copy and if so can you please provide a link.
Thank you in advance.
