AVG 2012 installation problem

I have used AVG Free for a number of years without any problems. 2012 was installed and stopped updating last week, so I tried using the removal tool and loading the avg_free_x86_all_2012_2126a4890.exe version. Got a setup error, Error Code 0xC0070643.

I'm stuck!

After reading other posts I have saved msinfo and AVG log file to rapidshare:

Hello ej_avg,

Please be informed that this installation issue (based on analysis of provided installation logs) is caused by missing updated root certificates in your operating system Windows.

Please read through this FAQ about this issue resolution.

AVG 2012 installation problem - now fixed

Wow...that was actually the easiest and least painful process for computer maintenance I have done in many years - downloaded the file, ran it, ran the installation for 2012 AVG and all works now.
