Hello jenjensen0627,

this situation is very probably caused by used firewall, which blocks the AVG online installer connection to AVG servers to download the whole installation file.

You can disable used firewall or allow AVG online installer in firewall or download AVG full installation file from this website - use 2nd or 3rd link according to version of your operating system.

What is the current situation?

i m facing the same problem of proxy server connection...i have tried the above mentioned solutions by ondrej_avg...but they r not working.. Someone please help to fix this problem... Thanx

I have checked mentioned link and it is fully working (the link is the same for more than one year). You can also check this global link to download of all AVG Free products:

http://free.avg.com/ww-en/download-free-all-product

Are you able to visit our AVG pages properly? (some infections blocks access to security vendors' servers)

Is possible to download AVG RescueCD on another computer and check the computer?
The same download process (on another computer) can be used with our offline installation files...

What is the current situation? (more details are better)
