AVG free 2011 download starts/stops..

I have a brand new Win 7 pc and I disabled the firewall and tried to download AVG 2011 from the AVG offline installer page. The download will start and download about 1-2mb and then the speed slows down to a halt and stops. In firefox I can click pause/resume and it will start back up for a couple seconds and stop again.

I'm very confused what would be causing this?

One I did get AVG 2011 on my pc the virus update for it was doing the same thing. It's like it would start and then stop. I have another Windows 7 machine that has the same problem but the windows XP machine works fine. Any ideas what this could be? I've powered the router and modem down several times as well as turning off my windows 7 firewall.

Hello,

Try to download full installation file from here:
http://free.avg.com/ww-en/download.prd-afh
32/64bit full package, depending on your system

If it is still not possible, try to download in different browsers (FF, IE, Chrome)
You could also download the package on the other computer and move it via flash drive.

Are other files donwloading correctly?
