Hi
I am having problems downloading different things/files such as webshotdestopinstaller successfully with avg 9 anti virus on.
I can't locate where to turn it off for the download. It's on the desktop screen not toolbar! I am feeling stupid but please tell me how to do it. I have avg 9 on my XP Prof'l - no problem but on windows 7, it's no happening!

How to disable AVG Free temporarily - FAQ 2429 - http://free.avg.com/ww-en/kb.num-2429#num-2429

Else the issue with downloading, does it looks like the file was downloaded correctly, but then disappear from the download location?

If so, please check existence of this file:

"C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8\avgoff2k.dll" (for 64bit systems "C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG\AVG8\avgoff2k.dll")
