Trouble downloading AVG

I am currently trying to download AVG and I am getting an error message that AVG cannot detect an internet connection. I definitely have an internet connection, as this is how I got to download.com/cnet in the first place

AVG Anti Virus Free edition doenload manager gives error

After a long time download the files through the download manager, it throws an error and can't install the AVG antivirus.

The full installation file link: http://free.avg.com/download-file-ins-afg-free, is broken

(Second item, not the download manager)

Could you please be more specific?
What error message are you receiving?
Did you try to download full installation file?
