A penmount 6000 resistive touchscreen.........

Before 2 years I had a HCL leaptop (Mileap) ..... It had a penmount 6000 USB/RS232(not sure) resistive touchscreen........ The leaptop got crashed.... but the touch screen is still intact...! I cannot see 'my once the most favourite tool' left idle for years......... Is there anyway I could reuse that Screen....... May be as an utility screen for my laptop??

But you could try to see if it outputs the old RS232 "mickeys". I won't go into much detail but back in a day the mouse was connected to RS232 or "serial" and spewed information and it was fun to decode how many mickeys it moved.
