Laptop to LCD TV connector

Hi ,

I have Lenovo laptop T60 which has VGA port but no HDMI port. I want to connect my laptop with samsung LCD TV which has HDMI port too.

Can you pls suggest what is the best option go for? I went though few vga to hdmi cable . Is that ok for video sync?

VGA to HDMI cables rarely work.

There's quite a call for such but the "cable" variety rarely work. I won't discuss why but you need to tell more.

Maybe this model of TV has VGA? Tell what model it is.

We could look at USB to HDMI but I can't tell what the intent is. Video? Gaming? USB is too slow for that.

yes this TV has VGA adapter. I conncected Laptop VGA to TV VGA and extend the monitor. The TV got the desktop picture from the laptop while i extent, no more video. i will send the TV model later on.

Video purpose

Since you extended the desktop, then it sounds proper.

Now start up VLC PLAYER in non-fullscreen and drag it to Display 2.
