Trouble unpairing sony ericsson hbh is800 bluetooth headset

I recently bought a sony ericcson wireless bluetooth headset. I love the headset and used it almost every day. I recently paired it to my mac book pro and it worked great but now that i paired it to my mac, i can't seem to get it to un pair from my mac so my iPhone can see it and pair with it. I go and delete the headset from the mac but it won't show up on my iPhone. Later i get a pop up to sync the mac with the headset. Any help would be appreciated
