USB 3.0 HELP

I bought a 2 Port ExpressCard SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Card Adapter for my HP DV8 Windows 7 laptop and then bought a 16GB 3.0 flash drive and it wont work with my setup. What can I do to make all three work together?

Is to return products that don't work out of the box and offer no tech support. While I think those should work without fuss, your experience is one that I have to write "get your money back."

the express card works fine it has to be the flash drive. As soon as I plug it into the card and try to transfer a file to the flash drive, it says it cant find the drive then asks me if I want to fix the bad sectors and just never works. I was thinking 3.0 wasn't compatible with my laptop but I guess it might be something else.
