To downgrade a computer made for Windows 8 to Windows 7 is fraught with peril. First there's the matter of drivers which may be difficult or impossible to find. The other is something called UEFI which is a totally new replacement for the BIOS and the way hard drives are formatted. If the manufacturer didn't intend for the computer to run Windows 7, it would be difficult to impossible to make it do so.
I have to ask though, are you familiar with Classic Shell and Start8? They make Windows 8 look and feel like earlier versions of Windows with the traditional Start button and menu. Classic Shell is free and Start8 is $5. I have no use for the new user interface or Metro mode apps, but for me and most folks Classic Shell lets Windows go from the ridiculous to the very usable way of doing things we're used to. YMMV.
