Netbooks vs Tablets

Hello, I have a desktop, laptop and netbook. I take the netbook traveling with me and it works just fine for my needs. I am thinking of getting another netbook to put in my kitchen for fast news and quick email look-see. I can't decide between a tablet and another netbook? The tablets do not have the storage offered in a netbook, although, I do not store much on my netbook presently (I may want to download books on my netbook). Also, tablets are twice the price as a netbook. And I would have to buy a cover (protector) for a tablet as well. What are others buying out there? Thank you!

I have the Kindle Fire HD 7, Nexus 7, and tomorrow one of the Transformers with the keyboard.

If you are wanting a near PC experience the Nexus 7 came very close but I had to find an article about installing Firefox Beta and Flash (beta) to see the web sites I visit. You may have heard of the site in question. It's Yahoo.

Covers were about 20 bucks for the 7 inch units and the nice touch is they turn off and on as I close and open the cover. Nice.

i'm scratchin my head in a delimma...i like the tablets tht r out there but u have to download apps......i need somethin for job searchin, microsoft word to pull up my resumes and othere documents

Then why not a netbook?

It's cheaper than our Asus Transformer and can run an Office app for free such as LibreOffice (which is free).

The current usual Tablets are not "PCs" and folk often learn this the hard way.
