Adding A Secondary Hard Drive

I have a 2 Part Question:

1) I have a ASUS K52JT-XT1 (http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7124332&CatId=4938). I know i can remove the CD drive to add a second hard drive, but when i search Google i can't seem to find what i am looking for. Will any caddy work or are they model specific?

2) Can pull apart this Seagate STAA1000100 FreeAgent GoFlex Ultra-Portable Drive (http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6096313&CatId=4227) and use the hard drive in my laptop?

It's something a crafty electronics+mechanical engineer could make?

2. Looks ok from here. But you have the parts so you can know the final answer.

Just my advice. Forget it and replace the primary drive with something big.

But I do suggest you try a forum with a lot more eyeballs. For example CNET's Computer Help will get you a lot more reads and maybe replies.

I don't expect anyone to give you a link to what to buy but I'd love to be proven wrong.
