screaming noise from Toshiba netbook when using Skype

My correspondent is in Morocco and is transmitting intermittent sound from his Toshiba netbook via wi-fi. I have had him on Skype video (poor quality) but the sound is brutal. When he moves the netbook, there is a screaming sound that modulates as the netbook moves. We have tried to talk without video. No joy! I don't have the model etc but it operates on Windows 7. It was a new netbook as of Oct 2010. It was working fine in Egypt and Tunisia (he got out just in time). He has gone to a new headset/microphone without success. I have suggested he contact Toshiba but he is computer illiterate and is afraid to make changes, believing it will affect his ability to e-mail. He has gone to a Moroccan computer shop without sucess.

MY toshiba is screaming for a different reason!

I accidentally plugged my earphones into the "line in jack" - now the computer screams if I don't plug into the "line in". I can listen with ear phones in the correct spot - but don't want to always have to. Can anyone advise on the screaming toshibas?

Sceaming Toshiba NB305 Netbook

I have same prtoblem that makes using the netbook impossible on Skype, have tried all the sound card and operating settings to no avail. Any one got an answer? would br gratful.
