Asus Eee PC 1015 not powering in

When I press power button the blue light turns on, like on the normal start, but after a second or two it just turns off and nothing happens.
When I plug power cable, the battery led is green, which means it is 95-100% charged (according to user manual).

Any ideas how this can be fixed?

Try the old generice reset.

Unplug the AC, then the battery. Press and hold the power button for a full minute. Let go, insert the battery and the AC then try again.

There are no user serviceable parts so if this fails you get a quote for repair.

For the whole minute? 60 seconds? I'll try it of course, but does it realy metter 50, 55 or 60 seconds?

In the Cnet Laptop Troubleshooting Forum. This is a generic procedure. If there is a specific one for your netbook you could try to find it. But why should we worry about the exact time when the generic version seems to hold up and pay off?

Lost screen graphics

I've also lost the screen on my Pc EEE Seashell 1015PEM.
attempted the generic reboot, still got just the light on the power button, nothing on the screen.
the manual has no instructions for a hard reboot when you cant even get into BIOS, otherwise i could try F2 or F9. anyone else have an idea?

And the generic instructions, maker instructions fail it's usually a motherboard or such failure. I can't tell much from your post but it sounds dead.

If you want to discuss this, please save time by posting full details such as "the laptop was dropped from 4.5 feet", I tried the microwave repair method and then why can't I leave my USB sticks plugged in?
