Gaming laptops forum: Enduro or not enduro?

Enduro or not enduro?

Yeah basically I've decided to go for the AMD 7970M on my future laptop no matter what. But this has lead me to a difficult last choice. Here it is :

Alienware M17x with the option to disable enduro but for 1724€ or a Schenker with a 64GB SSD & for 1454€ but without the option to disable enduro :/

Everything else the same on both... & by that I mean :

17.3 inch 1080p screen, 8GB RAM, 500HDD, intel core i7 3630QM quad core...

So... SSD + better price but with enduro(****** performance problem) or... no SSD + higher price but without enduro?

Hhhhmmm... tough one. This is actually really annoying me...

Then why SSD? Loads faster but games can be quite large and my gaming fiend (friend) is now complaining about space in the first month.

Why the i7? Tomshardware covered that question for gamers but then again they are a finicky lot with bragging rights being as important as the game.

If you are new to computers be sure to avoid any sales folk that will not talk to you about their product. I shared about my buddy that got the SSD option and what happened. Since this didn't mean a thing to you, I strongly suggest you talk to folk around you about drive space and more so you don't get ripped off.
