Is this a good Laptop for the price (aspire v3-f71)

so im looking for a gaming laptop and i found this aspire v3-f71. I'm wondering if it's worth the 900 dollar price tag.

aspire v3-f71

intel core i 7 3630qm
6mb 2.4-3.4GHZ
8gb drr3 (special deal for 4 more gb's then normal)
750 gb
15.6"
intel hd graphics
geforce gt640M 2gb


i really just want the best gaming laptop 1000 dollars can buy me, but im find it really hard to find the one considered the best. I found the lenovo y580 but there sold out everywhere, perhaps i should just wait until i get home and buy one online?

It turns out that memory bandwidth and PCIe throughput don't hold back the performance of existing Sandy Bridge-based machines. "
