I'm on a deep budget and looking forward to purchase a used gaming laptop. I have some questions and in need some of your expertise and i know little about gaming laptop. The 9600's are too similar to the failed 8600 to go near. Type 8600 recall at google to learn more.
" used gaming laptop " is a very bad idea. Most are 2 year affairs then they need repairs. You are getting the machine worn out and will not much life left.
I strongly suggest you don't do this unless you get it so cheap that you can afford a new motherboard and other repairs.

Remember your die hard gamer will always be upset with such but it will run the games. I can't guess what performance you'll get but maybe you can snoop around notebookcheck.com for a similar AMD Trinity for clues.

Just had my son checkout Minecraft on a Samsung RV515 and it looks like it runs OK. Not a big test but thought I add this.
