Buying a laptop - Gaming capabilities?

Hello there , just a quick question on the laptop i'm considering buying , i've done lots of research and i believe this laptop is capable for what i want but i just wanted to make sure:

HP Pavilion G6-1311
(AMD Dual-Core A4-3305M 1.9 GHZ Processor, \
6GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB 5400RPM SATA HDD,
AMD Radeon HD 6480G Discrete-Class Graphics, Integrated

I would like to be able to just play a few games that arn't really too recent ,perhaps the highest graphic game i'm thinking would be medieval 2 total war?.Would the above laptop do the job?

what do you guys think?

But as gamers go, they never like laptops from what I see as the speeds are not close to desktops and then we have the reduced life span issue. If you are OK with 2 years then repairs then gaming on a laptop is fine for you.

You can read my story about their lack of repairs at times. They didn't fix my laptop and they had 6 months to work on it.

Not a good name until they get that taken care of.

configuration is good but what about the stability.As i will suggest you go with dedicated Nvidia Graphics card with 2-4 gb ram(Nvidia graphics card never heated or no shutdown problems during gameplay) and In processor go with intel processor as they are more reliable if you compare them.
