Asus Laptops With New Processor And Video Card?

I've been a console gaming man all my life and I just starting using my PC more because the games are often cheaper and portable. I was looking to get an Asus G74SX-DH71 (seen here: http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-G74SX-DH71-17-3-Inch-Gaming-Laptop/dp/tech-data/B005PAJI4Y/ref=de_a_smtd) and a best buy employee advised me not to bother because Asus was coming out with a similar laptop with a faster processor and better video card. Does anyone know anything about this, or can tell me when it's coming out or where I should be looking to keep myself updated? I'm trying to track the release but I don't even know what the model is supposed to called when it is released so I don't even know where I should be looking.

The laptop they are talking about is the Asus G75VW. There was information released on the Asus Republic of Gamers webpage and it included a Nvidia 660m/670m video card with a 2.3ghz i7 Processor that can turbo boost to 3.3ghz. It quite and upgrade and is approximately the same price. I believe some seem to be available now, but most websites I've looked at are Pre-Order only and should be released towards the end of the month.

versions of that model all with the new Intel Ivy Bridge processor. The range from over 2000.. down to around 1400.00.

ASUS has the worst warranty

My advice is to find a gaming laptop with a usable warranty. My ASUS G74 died in the first 2 months. After 2 servicings, it still doesn't work. ASUS has a 0% replacement policy, so if something goes wrong, you're stuck.
