Hello all. I just got a brand new msi GT780 DXR. Specs are> Intel core I7 2670 QM Raid 0 on 2 500 gig. 16 GB of DDR3 and a 3GB GTX 570M Graphics card. 64 Bit Windows 7. So when I opend the box I expected nothing short of greatness. Well my ISSUE is whenever Im playing games it switches from Being plugged in to not being plugged in at all! I even ran in windows mode and watch the little plug next to battery Icon dissapear and reapear and sometimes it does it rapidly. I first noticed durring gameplay when FPS dropped very low and startged to get very laggy. My power supply Makes a weird electric noise and does get hot. DC socket is snug and if I jiggle my cord nothing happens. Could it be my power supply is drawing too much energy and shutting itself off? I downloaded a power program that tells me when im switching to mains power or battery and it tells me it switches very often. Do you guys/gals think this is a soldering issue? perhaps thermal pasting of some sort or do I need to RMA a new power supply??? I dont want to send my whole laptop in for work if I dont have to ( specially with D3 comming out right around the corner) Thanks for your time in this matter =/
