I'm looking for a laptop to take with me to colloge and I am having difficulties in choosing one that will work for me. I need a laptop that can do normal things expected of a laptop such as run word and use the internet, but I also intend to use the laptop for gaming. Currently I have a laptop that can run games like Command and Conquer 2, but when the game gets intense it lags hard. Also playing games like Minecraft becomes impossible due to the lag. I'm searching for a laptop that can render Minecraft's world on far with ease, and will be able to play online games like Team Fortress 2, League of Legends, and Dota 2 and maybe even World of Warcraft. Also it is vital for me that the laptop has a built in camera and microphone so I will be able to video chat when I am in college. The laptop doesn't need to be extraordinarily light but it would be nice if it lasted a few hours or more on just the battery when running programs like word. The college I am going to also suggests having a 10/100 ethernet card and 802.11 a,b,g,n. I'm not a computer expert so these to me aren't exactly things I know so I would appreciate any suggestions on brand or processor, video card, or anything else that is applicable. I'm trying to keep it around 1,500 and $2,000 max, but I can try going over and ask my grandpa for some help paying for it, so I can probably reach $3,000 if I really knew that the computer was perfect but $1,500 is still preferable. I've been trying to find a computer for weeks, so any help will be fantastic. Thanks!
