What is wrong with my laptop

Here is my laptop: click and I play a game called War of the Immortals (click). I bought this laptop about 2 years ago after being told I could run smaller games like this smoothly. Not true! I lag even on low settings. It would be my DREAM to be able to run this game on excellent settings (which isn't impressive, like i said it's a small game).
Anyway, I want to know if I am able to upgrade this even though it is 2 years old. And what do I need to upgrade. My friend said the only really bad thing is my processor. Also I want to upgrade to 6-8gb.

This is typical for entry level GPUs.

This has a Nvidia 210 so I'd not spend a dime in hopes of boosting the GPU speed.

To achieve the dream at a reasonable cost I'd move to a desktop and use this laptop for laptop things.
