There are a lot of different gaming laptops out there, all with different features, accessories, specifications, and so on. That's why I thought it would be better to educate myself on these subjects and decide for myself what I need and what price range I should aim for. So here goes:
Operating system: windows 7 of course, but any noticeable differences, gaming wise, between all the choices?
CPU/processor speed: this is one of the big components correct? I suppose the more Ghz the better? Do more cores necessarily make a difference?
RAM: also a biggy, and more the better. I don't know how RAM works but I guess it's similar to CPU?
Graphics card: the last biggy. More mb is better right? What's this option I see in laptops with 2 different graphics cards? Is this a useful feature? Worth the additional money for the extra card?
Networking and optical drive: as I understand these make minimal differences, and I shouldn't select laptops based on these specs.
Can someone give me a comprehensive and noob friendly review of at least the CPU, RAM, and graphics card. I know there's some synergy between them, but again my computer background is not very extensive, and I welcome all knowledge on the subjects.
Hopefully this is a better question than just "recommend me a laptop please." Thanks for your help!
