Gaming laptops forum: gaming laptop help...

As I stated before, I dont do a whole lot PC gaming. Most of it is done on my xbox. I just want a laptop that I can play WOW with some friends from time to time, as well as being capable of watching blu-rays, and listening to music. So, I guess what I am asking is, in order to play this one game, do I need a $2000 laptop, or can I get something a little less expensive, still provide me with what I am looking for, and can last a bit longer. I kind of see what you are saying. And correct me if I am wrong, but most if not all gaming laptops have a much shorter life expectancy than say, a generic one. Or is it just laptops in general. I know when it comes to comps, its an ever changing market. And I understand that you say you would have no problem upgrading in a couple years, or wouldnt cry if you had to buy a new one due to not having spent a larger amount. The reason I am looking to buy a bit of a higher end one is that I have money right now, but am going back to school for the next few years, and wont have the means to buy a new one down the road. So are you saying I should just not even think of buying a high end one, or should I look a little cheaper... say the alienware m15, or asus g73jw-a1. as stated previously, WOW is the game I primarily will be playing for the next few years, and graphics and smoothness mean a decent amount to me. ill post the specs below of the two above mentioned systems and let me know what you think. Again, all your help is GREATLY appreciated.
