Need a budget gaming pc

I really will only use it to play WoW, I want to be able to run it on max settings with no drops under 30 fps for most circumstances.

I currently want a good rig below $800 without tax but I'll consider $800-$899 if they pc is really worth the extra $100 bucks or so.

I see some Asus new gaming laptops for that price at newegg and amazon but if we pull back to last years machine I see refurbs that are a good deal less and play Wow fine. Try http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=BRN-X83VM-X1-PB-R&cat=NBB and if you want Windows 7 you can do that anytime upgrade for not much when you feel like it.

1st of all you have to know that a gaming laptop is twice the price than a gaming desktop. The sad part is a laptop has a lower life span than a desktop, this is due to the fact that a laptop heats up faster than a more ventilated desktop. to be able to get a gaming desktop according to your budget you should build your own PC, that's the challenging part. but that's nothing when you get sufficient information about all the PC parts.the most important part of a PC to be able to get games running smooth on them is the video card. choose the ones starting from 9800GT for NVIDIA or similar ATI Radeon products up to the latest.
You will also need a good motherboard to go with it. There are lots of mobos to choose out there. cheap ones too. Just remember to consider not buying branded desktops as it will increase all costs significantly.
