gaming laptops

right i am looking for a gaming laptop it has to be fairly light as i do alot of traveling i want it to be under 1500 pounds. i have done a fairbit of research but with no luck i like the idea of a solid state hard drive as well, i have seen the msi which i like right sort of money but not sure if these are the best? Also finding it hard to find pricing for there two new models and availibility? are there any better alternatives to these?

Did you come across anything in your research that talked about laptops not being the best gaming machines because of heat issues? This is one thing you might want to look into before signing the check.
