Etab PC 7006 Bricked

Okay so a while back now, i was trying to update my etab with a custom firmware. I went through the bootloader and was installing it when it froze. The next thing i know is when i reboot it, it doesnt start up. the screen stays black but it just charges. Please help, this is kind of urgent. Thanks Doodyguy.

Should have support. To restore such to the factory usually means you find the maker's web site and contact them to arrange for repairs.

So the story is you installed an unsupported firmware with no support from any site.

I might have looked for some recovery but without the site you got the firmware from I can't see if they discuss what to do if it bricks.

-> Generic advice? Try to flash other images.

Pin Jumping

Looked on slate droid and there seems to be a way of doing it by jumping the pins on a chip.

I guess the hints I dropped are not landing.

As long as the firmware you installed is unknown and you don't share what page you used to fetch it from as well as the page on how to install are a secret no one can look to see if there is a known recovery method.

Many of these no-name tablets without support sites are best sold on Ebay and forgotten.
