Typing papers? On what?

I don't see a keyboard and even on my Asus Transformer with it's keyboard dock my netbook is able to do more than the Transformer as the Androids don't have printer drivers so how do you format for the printer?

I strongly suggest you use these tablets for a while before you buy one and find out later it is not suitable to replace a laptop for school work yet. Maybe soon, but not yet.

Personally I would get the Asus Transformer TF300. You should be able to pick one up with a dock cheaper than a galaxy tab 2 10.1. If you're going to be typing on it you will really like the transformer line.

As for the printer drivers, I always just go to the playstore download a printer app for whatever brand and it can look it up and install what needs to be installed. I has my TF300 at work and my boss had his asus netbook. We bought a new printer and both needed to hook it up. I had to plug the printer into the netbook, then go online to find the Epson drivers and download them like that. For my TF300, I went to the playstore downloaded a epson printer app, found the model and it found it then I printed from it that easy.

I have been a big advocate of Android but lately I have been more drawn to Windows 8. I will be buying a windows 8 ultrabook here shortly. I think that many android apps will be made available on Windows 8 and then I like the added functions that Windows brings, making it something that will be able to completely replace both a tablet & laptop.
