Buy, but not use 3/4G on Tab to get faster processor?

I hope I can explain this correctly. I have seen some refurbished At&T Samsung Galaxy 8.9" tablets with 4G.
I've also seen they have a 1.5ghz processor vs 1ghz.

I will only use the WiFi, is there any advantage in speed to get one with the 4G capability?. Could the added processor ghz be for the "bloatware" on it and can I uninstall the stuff?

No. The added processor is for the consumers.

"Now with more processors" may be enough to get the consumer to buy the product. While a dual core is not yet mandatory for these handhelds you see progress to the day you might use these instead of a PC. Some already do and they'll want more speed, memory and so on,.

As to the uninstall the stuff, some are welded into the OS so I'll stop here as the discussion about non-removeable apps is well discussed as well as rooting and more.
