i need to know how to activate my 3g on my tab, help please. I have a sim card inserted.

I have to go to the cellular carrier and have them show me. I can't guess if the card is one that works on other phones or devices. Example? I see folk and I tried it too take some of those pre-paid sims and they don't work everywhere. That's why it's back to the cellular carrier to tell them it didn't work.

Then again you might be asking where in the menu to turn it on. Your post is a little light in that respect.

bob, thanks for that and sorry for the vague nature of my message. I just want to know where the menu is to turn it on. I understand about the sim card.
