What do you guys think about the Nabi tablet for kids?

I'm thinking about getting the Nabi tablet for my kids(5 and 6 years old). Should I buy cheaper tablets for them and make it kid friendly or buy the Nabi which is already setup for kids?

But all I see is some rubber and a little app to make it too easy to use. I've seen this before and the kids outgrow these things fast or the challenge of the toy is too low and the device/product heads to the toy bin.

It's an OK thing. But given we can get a regular Android tablet and put the apps we want on the screen with so little ease and the regular android tablet could get used for years rather than a few months I would not buy this.

I might get a regular android tablet and put it in some Otterbox defender.
