I got a B&N gift card, which is great, but I have a Kindle. Will a Nook book work on a Kindle? If no, is there a way to convert the files? If yes, how?

side load Nook app

I recommend side loading. It works on my Kindle Fire. I used Getjar I believe and you go in settings under device enable allow installation from unknown sources. There's also 1 mobile for side loading. I even loaded Blio for checking out library books.

As well-know, ePUB and PDF formats are read by Nook e-reader. Otherwise, ePub format can not be read by Kindle fire, Kindle HD and other kindle devices. That is a pity for most of e-book fans cause they do not take a action which is a encumbrance to buy each e-book reader for saving money. So, it is the best way to convert Mobi e-books to ePub format. Then those kindle devices can read ePub e-books which is after conversion. That's the main pith of resolving this trouble.
