Do I need an EReader ?

Hi
I'm a Computer Engineering collegian.
I need to read several articles and documents every day .I don't want to print all of them then I wondered if a E-Book reader can help confused
I need a device with these abilities :
1.I need to highlight text
2.I need to type notes on file
3.The PDF text should be completely clear .I don't want small fonts !
4.E-Ink readers are preferred
Do a Ebook reader does this job ?
Cheaper is better cool

I find folk that are used to what they can do on a laptop (Apple/Windows) and are upset at the ereaders.

Maybe a tablet PC is the solution?

I'm not sure if it has all the abilities you mentioned but I hear it's the new top of the line e-reader. It's got loads of new features and is essentially a new tablet on the market.
