E-Book readers forum: ePub format

ePub format

I'm trying to transfer a HTML-page with tables and all that into an ePub document. I've tried Atlantis, Sigil and Calibre software but someway or another they create an ePub document with text only.

Is there anybody of you e-Book readers that has tried this and if so, how did you get your pictures neatly in the table? Whatever I do, whichever tool I use, my pictures disappear and all that's left is text.

Ah... didn't think of Googling it, tnx.

Weird though, that e-Readers can read ePubs with pictures, but that it's such a hassle to create them.

Did anybody inhere succeed in doing this? If so, I'd like to know with which tool happy

Sigil can do that for you.

Sigil can do that for you. I think it's a path issue to your image when Sigil compiles your ebook. The best way to go is to open a text only html page and add images from within Sigil.

This tutorial is not specifically about your issue but a general overview of Sigil. Check how the author has added his cover image. Use the same technique within your document.

I always convert html to pdf use pdf creater,then convert pdf to epub
