I have an HP Pavilion DV4-2045DX entertainment notebook. It's about like 2 years old now and it heats up way too much. I actually took the whole thing apart like four times now to get to the motherboard and replace the thermal paste on the CPU & GPU. I first used a really high quailty thermal paste and applied it on and using compressed air blew out all the dust and vents and the fan but it still heated up even after that. (And it was only sitting on wood suface flat and web browsing) The second time i cleaned that whole paste off and applied artic silver 5 and it still is heating up. Every thing inside the machine is clean no dust at all. (I've disassembled it like a million times now) The ram is working, so is the hdd, i have just replaced the keyboard bezel, and did everything but it still heats up in just like 10 minutes. Please please tell me how to fix this issue. Is there like some update that needs to be done (I already restored factory OS on there). Please help out.
