HP g6 Battery Compatibile w/ HP g7 Laptop?

Looking at buying a new second HP Laptop but the new one is a g7-1320dx I bought a battery for my old g6-1c45dx a longer lasting one I believe it is a MU09 but I want to buy a New Laptop that will work with the batteries that I now have and work with my current HP Laptop. Seems each time I find a new decent HP Laptop I am interested in I ask HP and the delay on their reply the Laptop is then sold out. So then I have to search out another model. And since I am buying it online I cannot take it to the retailer to make sure it works.

And searched HP Parts it requires more Product info and being I don't have a serial number of the new one it is not an easy task to learn what batteries work with what HP Laptop.

Any information on battery compatibility between these 2 models would be helpful.

They were not sure because I don't have any additional Product info like I mentioned serial number or at least when I did they could not answer the question.

And if you visit any of the battery sellers they have a "List" but the list is not specific to my old Laptop and the same for the New Model it is not specific enough to be sure but thanks guess I will be waiting on another HP Reply which is useless...

Oh well guess I won't be buying one... At least not any deal and know if it5 works or not!

Thanks but also being Thanksgiving it is another reason...

This why I came here thought someone might know...

Sorry but it's on the outer edges of most folk's knowledge.

Batteries are such short lived things that it's rare to re-use them on the next machine. 300 cycles or about 18 months for folk that use the battery daily.
