Samsung LCD LTN154X3-L02 same as LTN154X3-L03?

I need to replace the Samsung LCD LTN154X3-L02 in my Lenovo R61I and am trying to determine for certain if I can use a -L03 instead of a -L02. Many items I have found on the web indicate they are equivalent. For example many sites show that a particular LCD is compatible with both of these (and with LTN154X3's with other suffixes as well). But does anyone know for certain?

Bout an L03 from ebay to replace the L02 from my Lenovo R61i and it worked perfectly.

The L03 came out of a Gateway. From my research it looks like all or most L03's are from Gateways, L01 are from HP and Compaq's. L02 are from Lenovo. L05/6/7 are from Toshiba. L08/9 are from Dell.

On the L03, the wire lead to the inverter is longer than on the L02 and so had to be un-taped a bit from the bottom of the panel in order to reach the Lenovo inverter.
