Hard drive limits on Asus g51vx-rx05

Hello,
I have Asus g51vx-rx05, and by the standard it has two hard drive slots, where one of them is taken by 320gb 7200 rpm. I want to buy another one to fill in another slot, and I want to buy as big hard drive as i can. Does it has any limits by the hard drive size, and if yes then what are they?
I know that it has SATA connection, but I am not sure about its version. The one that looks good to me is Seagate Constellation.2 ST91000640NS, or Seagate Momentus ST9750420AS - 1tb and 750gb respectively. Are they good, or can you advice anything better?

Still a great Laptop

I have the same laptop and I'm running two harddrives right now both are the 500GB each which one is the seagate momentus with the ssd built in and it runs great, but what I'm going to do is purchase 2 1TB harddrives and run them in RAID 0 and install Windows 8 on Oct. 26. know what your going to need is a harddrive plate to hold the extra hard drive and the best place I got that was this website. estore.asus.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=4410&catid=606

I think what I'm going to have to do is run the drivers from Windows 7 in compatibility mode for Windows 8 and see how it does with it and if it works like it did in Win 7. What sucks is if you go to their website you can't even find the drivers for this laptop if tried for the heck of it and no go. Good luck with the laptop and always game with full settings on like it was built for...

It should handle the new 1TB drives fine. You didn't write which OS but if the BIOS is current and the OS is as well, the new 1TB drives should be fine.
