HP dv6zqe motherboard upgrade?

Hello!
So, I have recently noticed that I have lost one of my ram ports in my HP dv6zqe laptop.I have a 4gb and a 2gb DDR3 in there, and even after switching which ports they are in and updating my BIOS, it still will not work. I know that, sadly, replacing the motherboard will fix this. I cant find anywhere what motherboards are compatible with my model. Do any of you happen to know? Thanks!

I think you are thinking about desktops. Laptops...

Laptops are much more locked down. If you need a board for that dv6-abcd... You get one of those.

purchase the mobo separately and they will install it.
