Enabling VT-x on Lenovo 3000 (ValueLine) Y500

My Y500 has a CPU (Intel T2080) that supports Vt-x. However, it is locked off. I googled, but all I could find was for Y400, Y510, Y550 etc. not for Y500. It has a VT-x supporting processor and BIOS has no option for enabling it. No BIOS updates available. I'm ready to flash the suitable BIOS, edit CMOS or do whatever, even though there are chances of my laptop getting bricked. I'm taking the chance. Don't tell me that there is no need for it. Just tell me what to do.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

I will never assist folk in any procedure that will brick their PCs. If there is no BIOS up on the Lenovo site then you are on your own since ONLY YOU can decide what to do next.
