Need emergency laptop replacement

Murphy struck one day after the big Labor Day sales and we need to buy a replacement laptop while on vacation in New Jersey.

Looking for some advice on a good budget laptop for working on websites and taking care of client emergencies while we're out of town. I'm guessing the usual big box stores and office supply places are going to be available around here.

Would like to find something between $350-430 for running basic Adobe web programs. I'm not up on the latest processor specs for laptops in that range, so any advice from the hardware gurus is appreciated.

I think that while I'd like to see the Intel i3 the budget and what you find are going to push the choice to what you find at that price.

I just found an i3 Gateway at a Best Buy not too far from here for $349.
Since I'm not familiar with all the new processors I wasn't sure if AMD had something that was better in that price range, but I don't think I'm going to find a better deal than that at the moment.

At the office we don't use them. Also we stick to i5 machines and up. That's a cheap price so it should not be a disappointment if it has a short life.
