Installing a graphics card on T510 laptop

I currently own a Lenovo T510 thinkpad. It uses an Intel HD Graphics chip and has no distinct video card. Over the past few months, my need for a bit higher end graphics processing has increased so I looked into upgrading the graphics card, knowing full well how difficult that can be with a laptop. I found that the T510 can actually be purchased with a Nvidia Quadro NVS 3100M graphics card in addition to the integrated chip. When I called and asked Lenovo about the possibility of installing this card on my laptop now I was met with the rote response that Lenovo doesn't support retrofitting hardware into their laptops. So my question should be evident. Can I install this graphics card on this laptop? If yes, is it a difficult enough process that I should seek professional help to install it? If no, does anyone have any recommendations for me short of buying a new laptop?

I looked at this laptop and found no slot or place to plug in a video card.

I'm guessing here you are used to desktops that offered such upgrades and are taken by surprise that laptops don't have such today.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I fully realize that there is no external port for a video card. Most laptops that are able to have a video card installed on them have to be opened up and have the video card placed internally (see: http://www.pcworld.com/article/148909/upgrading_your_laptops_graphics_card.html). My question is if anyone knows whether my specific laptop allows this.

Well thanks then. If lack of graphics card becomes an issue, I'll look into alternatives.
