Which laptop specs would be better?

Hi, I was wondering which of these two laptop configurations would be better, unfortunately there is no option to set up any other combinations....

i5-2410M processor 2.3Ghz, 4Gb single channel DDR3 memory

or for 50 bucks more

i3-2330M processor 2.2Ghz, 6 Gb dual channel DDR3 memory + 140 extra Gb Hard drive

I really just need a laptop that is reliable and will quickly run basic Microsoft Office programs as well as internet applications with ease.

Clearly the 6Gb of RAM is better but is the single channel with an i5 really going to be that much slower?

Or is the i3 going to be the limiting agent in this case? Any help is appreciated.

There's the link as you can see there is only four options, I can't afford the 800 dollar one and it won't let me customize. I'd pay 750 for i5 and 6gb dual channel but its not available...

At 6GB and there are no 3GB memory sticks, how could this be dual channel?

The i5 would be my choice since you get the turbo boost and more.
