Hey, I have a HP dv9000t. Bought it in 2006 and so far running on windows xp media center.
Soo... its a desktop replacement and its supposed to house alot of power but so far im seeing that it boots very slowly and that i cant run programs fast enough on it,
the DVD ROM drive isnt working, along with lightscribe.
Also, the touch buttons sometime get messed up.
Ram is 2gb... I dont think i can live with that....
bought in 2006 had to replace C:\ drive once (not because of a virus)
and currently im running programs Sony Vegas (latest version), 3ds Max 2012, Maya 2012, Inventor 2012, Photoshop CS3, Flash C35, Aftereffects CS5, Lightroom 3, Need for speed hot pursuit 2010, World of tanks .604 or something...
so far its running pretty sloow.
The 1400 x 1200 screen is...lets say... completely not function-able
Should i get a new desktop replacement ex.. macbook pro,
or should i upgrade ram, hard disk, screen, cd drive, to firewire 800??
should i buy a new computer.??
Lemme say... PRODUCTS FROM HP ARE TOTALLY UNRELIABLE LOOK AT MINE IT COULDNT EVEN LAST 1 YEAR WITHOUT BREAKING DOWN THE C DRIVE AND THE DVD ROM DRIVE.
