This is what a lot of people were looking for. INSTURCTIONS
I just upgraded to the AMD Athlon X2 5050e it takes about 15-30 mins
I'm running at 24c-50c, way lower than the singe core, twice as fast.
It requires you to remove the power source, take the 4 screws off on the right rear pannel.
Remove the 2 fan screws, and the disconnect the fan from the power.
Remove the 4 Silver screws on the Processor heat sync and remove the heat sync.
This is the tricky part of removing the Processor, there's a silver bar that needs to be moved up to release the processor, the tricky part is that there is a support beam above the bar, You can actually move that bar towards the right and around the beam. Here's the hint, the beam can bend!
Once you remove the processor, replace it with the 5050e by matching the triangles on the processor and the hub. If the silver bar aka fastener is down, the processor will not be secure. You must raise the bar to insert the processor then lower it to secure it.
Make sure to put some Silver Thermal compound on top of the processor so that you don't ruin your new new computer that you just upgraded.
Replace all the screws and replace the battery and boot up! You just made your computer 2X Faster and worth a lot more money! For $60
