Downloading problems, 32-64 bit?

I have been trying to download some software onto my computer. I have a windows vista, Hp pavilion dv6-1245dx entertainment notebook(pc). Every time I try to download anything, I get an error message saying that the software isnt compatible. But on the downloading screen it says that my computer IS compatible with that software. Then it goes on to say I need to check to see if i have a 32 bit or 64 bit(which I did and I have a 64), and then the message ends by telling me to contact the software publisher. I havent been able to download anything on my computer:-(((

Try the correct forum.

Look at this forum's charter and you find you are in the wrong forum. Try one like Cnet's Computer help and complete your post by writing what software title gave you trouble.
