Toshiba Satellite L775 Laptop. Will not Power on.
Yesterday, I spilled about 1/3 pint of green tea on the keyboard. Just as I was going to turn it off, it turned off. I unplugged it and tipped it upside down to drain the tea. I pulled the hard drive , battery and RAM to dry them. There was only a bit o water in the hard drive space, but none ON the hard drive. Let it all sit for about 5 hours. Put it all back together, turned it on and GLORIOUS it started to boot up. No images on the screen, but the numbers lock light was on as was power and hard drive lights and it made all those nice "booting up" sounds. Then the fan kicked in super fast and whiney and it sounded so not right, and I panicked so it turned it off immediately. Let it set for another couple of hours. Now, NOTHING. When the power cord is plugged in, it's light is on, as is the battery light, so some thing is alive. Any ideas what happened? A short with the power button? Fried mother board? RAM not put back properly? Any help is sooo appreciated I know it's not the most expensive computer, but I cannot afford to replace it right now. I need a computer to make money to buy a new computer, ha! So truly, any help please
Thanks so very very much!
