Ok, I think Hurricane Sandy may have upset it. I originally thought it was the power cord. I had plugged it into a place where they were letting us charge our phones and computer when the lights were. Plugged it into a power strip. Used the computer for a few minutes and when I went to package it all up and leave, noticed the power box thingy on the power cord was really, really hot. Hotter than usual. I'd shut down my computer normally before so didn't think much of it. I tried it again later and now the thing wont even turn on. Ordered an Acer compatible power cord/adapter off of Amazon (I'm broke so had to go that route) and the computer still wont turn on at all. The battery wasn't all that great but I've removed it and even with the power cord in it wont turn on. The voltage seems to be right on the new adapter and the only difference is that my old cord plugging it together was 3 pronged and this one is 2 pronged. Help!
