Laptop troubleshooting forum: laptop startup error

laptop startup error

When I switch on my laptop it gives error message that "BOOT UP PROCESS NOT FOUND",it tells to do memory test and also the harddisk test I did memory test it says ok but upon harddisktest test it says "NOT FOUND" or"doesn't exit even sometimes it also says to "INSTALL AN OPERATING SYSTEM" but upon several attempts to log on by pressing Ctrl,Alt,Delete it works but it keeps on freezing.

Yes I tried the harddrive in another computer it does not works I showed it to one repair agent he advised me that hard drive is no longer working all the sectors of the hard drive has gone bad and I'll have to replace by a new one

Laptop SATA hard drives are cheaper than a new laptop.
